Alexander Garcia (Thom Nemer) has always felt like he’s cursed with terrible luck. So when his mother, Val (Eva Longoria), plans a luxurious RV trip to Mexico City for her travel writing assignment—hoping to reconnect their distant family—Alexander is convinced it’s destined for disaster. Joined by his father Frank (Jesse Garcia), teenage sister Mia (Paulina Chávez), Grandma Lidia (Rose Portillo), and Grandpa Gil (Cheech Marin), the family hits the road, only for everything to go hilariously wrong.
