When David and his fiancée Meg join his family’s customary Shabbat dinner on the Upper West Side, the evening takes a wild turn faster than you can say “hamotzi” when someone’s accidental death—or was it murder?—throws everything into chaos. As Meg’s devoutly Catholic parents prepare to arrive and meet David’s staunchly Jewish family, their serene Friday evening rapidly devolves into a riotous, biblical‐sized farce.
