Daag (2022)

Officer-in-Charge Alamgir rescues a newborn abandoned in a dustbin and rushes the infant to a hospital. The unnamed baby quickly becomes a social-media sensation, and thousands of childless families apply to adopt him. Alamgir is tasked with vetting the shortlisted couples, but the investigation reopens old wounds — he is still tormented by the premature loss of his own child. Then the baby’s biological mother appears. Why was the child abandoned? What will become of him?
