Facing the collapse of his marriage and career, weary sheriff John Dorsey is forced to partner with the brash U.S. Marshal Butch Hayden to take notorious outlaw Emily Rusk into custody. As tensions rise, Emily manipulates the group into turning against one another. But with her vengeful husband and his gang closing in, Emily and John come to understand that their survival depends on trusting each other.
