I'm Beginning to See the Light (2025)

Ezra, once a renowned trumpeter, now finds himself clinging to the remnants of his career, playing for meager pay at a modest local jazz club. Following the devastating loss of his family in a fatal car accident, he stumbles upon a remote lighthouse, where a worker mistakes him for the new caretaker. Mysteriously drawn to the lighthouse, Ezra chooses to remain in seclusion. His solitary life takes a turn when he meets Sam, a troubled soul on the verge of ending his life. In Sam’s company, Ezra discovers unexpected comfort and a renewed sense of purpose—to guide and support the lost individuals who find their way to the lighthouse. With time, Ezra meets Hannah, a graceful and mysterious teacher who brings warmth and the hope of happiness back into his life. However, Sam, feeling increasingly sidelined and insecure, grows intensely jealous, culminating in a tense confrontation. This emotional collision forces each of them to face their innermost fears and desires, ultimately exploring the fragile balance between solitude, healing, and the search for redemption in Ezra’s isolated new reality.
