Shastri Ji, a cheerful retired mathematics teacher, resides in his 30-year-old home, filled with fond memories of his late wife, Sudha. However, his son Nilesh and daughter-in-law Madhu grow increasingly irritated with his eccentricities and the lack of personal space, prompting Madhu to push for a move to a new flat with her husband.
Meanwhile, Ayush leads a dull, routine life, with the only bright spot being his longtime girlfriend Parul, who is soon to become his wife. Their worlds unexpectedly collide when both Shastri Ji and Ayush attend a local health camp and receive a shocking diagnosis—they both have cancer.
