Hamare Baarah follows the story of Manzoor Ali Khan Sanjari, a man who, after losing his first wife during childbirth, goes on to father several more children with his second wife—now expecting their sixth. When doctors reveal that continuing the pregnancy could endanger her life, Khan refuses to allow an abortion. In a bold move to protect her stepmother, his daughter Alfiya takes him to court, seeking legal intervention for the abortion. The film delves into Alfiya’s fight to change her father's mind and sway the court, while challenging the deep-rooted patriarchy in their community.
