Cactus is a 2026 Bangladeshi spy thriller web series that was released on Chorki. The novel brings together hacking, government secrets, and so much backstabbing. Shihab Shaheen directed this series and released on Eid-ul-Fitr 2026. It attempts to impart a global-style thriller feel to local OTT content.

Story and Plot Overview

Mansib (Pritom Hasan) is a computer hacker who himself ends up in jail for years due to his crimes. This is when the government calls him for a specific purpose: to help solve some major national cyber crisis.

He is pulled into a world of secrets and lies during the mission. There, he meets Anura (Mehazabien Chowdhury), whose magical but cryptic yet again force instantly raises the stakes of the story.

Each turn in the series leads to betrayals, police conspiracies, and surprises. The story changes a lot, especially in episode 6. The final episodes drip-feed the darker secrets and survival dilemmas.

Character Journey and Performances

Pritom Hasan does a great job as Mansib. He plays the role in a calm and controlled way, which makes the character interesting and believable.

Mehazabien Chowdhury also stands out as Anura. She brings energy and emotion to her action-heavy role, even though her character could have been used more.

The supporting cast, including Salauddin Lavlu, Munira Yusuf Memi, and Naziba Basher, also perform well and support the story nicely.
