Vibe is a 2026 Hindi action comedy directed and written by Kunal Kemmu. The movie stars Kunal Kemmu, Preity Zinta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Vanshika Dhir, Dinesh Lal Yadav, and Yashpal Sharma. It was released in cinemas on 18 September 2026.

The film mixes comedy, friendship, spies, action, and a dangerous mission. Instead of presenting a serious spy story, Vibe uses funny characters and strange situations to create a light and entertaining adventure.

What Is Vibe About?

The story follows two close friends whose normal lives suddenly change. Hardik, played by Kunal Kemmu, may look careless and foolish, but he is also a talented coder. His friend Bugs, played by Sparsh Shrivastava, gets pulled into the same unexpected situation.

The two friends soon become involved with an Indian intelligence team. Their new mission is far more dangerous than anything they have faced before. They must help stop a terrorist who is planning a major attack.

Neither Hardik nor Bugs looks like a traditional spy, which creates many of the movie’s funny moments. Their friendship is tested as they face criminals, secret agents, danger, and several strange situations.

Cast and Performances

• Kunal Kemmu as Hardik: He plays one of the main characters. Hardik may seem silly at first, but his coding skills make him important to the mission.

• Sparsh Shrivastava as Bugs: He plays Hardik’s close friend. His character teams up with Hardik for a risky mission, adding humor and lighthearted moments to the adventure.

• Preity Zinta as Madam H: She plays the leader of the spy team. Her character brings experience, confidence, and authority to the group.

• Vanshika Dhir as Kareena: She plays an important supporting character and adds another side to Hardik’s personal story.

• Dinesh Lal Yadav: He appears in a supporting role and becomes part of the larger spy story.

• Yashpal Sharma: He also plays an important supporting character connected to the mission.

• Sharmila Tagore: She makes a special appearance in the film, giving viewers an extra surprise.

The cast works well because the movie depends more on funny chemistry and strange situations than on serious spy drama.

Comedy and Spy Action Together

Vibe takes the familiar spy-movie idea and gives it a funny style.

There are secret missions, dangerous villains, intelligence agents, action scenes, technology, and threats. But the movie does not treat these things too seriously.

Instead, Kunal Kemmu uses comedy throughout the story.

The film also makes fun of familiar action and spy movie ideas. Some scenes include references to popular films, while other moments use silly situations to keep the mood light.

At around 2 hours and 26 minutes, the movie is quite long. Viewers who enjoy fast comedy may feel that some parts could have been shorter.

What Works in Vibe?

The friendship between Hardik and Bugs is one of the strongest parts of the movie. Kunal Kemmu and Sparsh Shrivastava give the story plenty of energy. Preity Zinta also adds something different as the leader of the spy team.

The bright visuals, comedy, action scenes, and unusual characters help the film feel different from darker Indian spy movies. Early reviews have been generally positive about the comedy and performances. The Indian Express gave the film 3 out of 5 stars, calling it a light and playful spy comedy, while also noting that some parts of the story are weaker.

Is Vibe Worth Watching?

Vibe may be a good choice for people who want a fun spy movie rather than a serious thriller. It has action, comedy, friendship, secret missions, and plenty of silly moments.

People looking for a realistic intelligence story may not enjoy its style as much. But viewers who like light comedy and unusual spy adventures may find it entertaining.
