Set in the scenic valleys of Manipur, young Boong hopes to delight his mother with a heartfelt surprise. Innocently convinced that reuniting her with his estranged father would bring her the greatest joy, he embarks on a quest to find him. Along the way, Boong’s journey challenges his innocence and reshapes his understanding of the world, ultimately leading to an unexpected and meaningful gift. The film made history as the first Indian production to win a BAFTA Award in the Children’s & Family Film category.
