The 2022 Bangladeshi romantic drama Bosonto Bikel (Spring Afternoon), directed by Rafique Sikder, is set in the historically and culturally vibrant city of Pabna. It tells the poignant love story and tragic outcome of two Dhaka University students, Rudra and Chandrabati, both from the Hindu community, whose relationship unfolds against a backdrop of emotion and destiny.
