Dorothy (2026)

Set in rural Tamil Nadu during the 1990s, the story follows two childhood friends, Karthi and Subbu. Their lives are dramatically upended by the sudden death of Dorothy, Subbu’s newly married sister-in-law. Devastated by the tragedy, Subbu retreats into a community of social outcasts before disappearing without a trace. Tasked with locating him, Karthi embarks on a journey across rural India to find the friend who had once protected him in their youth.
