The story follows Nawabuddin, who visits the home of Ajiz, an Urdu poet, to learn the art of composing shayari. Ajiz introduces his daughter to Nawabuddin, and romance soon blossoms between them.
The trio often shares winter mornings together, enjoying poetry and tea, until unexpected events and misunderstandings drive a wedge between the young lovers.
