H Is for Hawk (2026)

In H Is for Hawk, Claire Foy’s character Helen, reeling from the sudden death of her father (played by Brendan Gleeson), retreats into memories of their shared birdwatching and nature outings. She immerses herself in the ancient practice of falconry, taking on the challenge of training a fierce wild goshawk named Mabel as a way to process her grief. While teaching Mabel to hunt and fly, Helen is forced to confront how she has ignored her own feelings and life; what starts as a test of endurance slowly becomes a personal journey toward recovery and strength.
