The story centers on Haru (Rinko Kikuchi) and Luis (Alejandro Edda), two dedicated contenders in Tokyo's ballroom scene. Following a heartbreaking loss that drives Haru into seclusion, encouragement from her friends draws her back to dancing, where she encounters a fresh instructor (Alberto Guerra) who sparks a powerful infatuation. Navigating the heat of this new connection, Haru must come to terms with both her sorrow and her reawakened romantic feelings.
