Iron Lung (2026)

The stars have vanished, and the planets are no more. Only those surviving aboard space stations and starships remain to witness what came to be called the Quiet Rapture. After years of deterioration and collapsing systems, the Consolidation of Iron uncovers a startling anomaly on a desolate moon known as AT-5—an immense sea of blood. In urgent need of resources, they swiftly organize an expedition. A specialized submarine is built, and a prisoner is sealed inside it. Because of the crushing depth and pressure of the ocean, the front viewing port has been completely reinforced with metal. Success means freedom; failure means replacement by another. This mission marks the thirteenth attempt.
