Golbibi Bazar is known as a stronghold of Maoist activity. To the government and the media, Narenji is a feared extremist, yet to the local people he is seen as a guiding force. Determined to restore the long-denied rights of the Jangalmahal residents, Narenji establishes a new political outfit, choosing to confront the state on his own terms. Opposing him is CRPF captain Shiv Mukharjee, tasked with stopping the movement. Complications arise when Shiv falls for Golapi, an emerging leader within Narenji’s party, while Satya—Narenji’s hot-headed and loyal lieutenant—steps in as a major obstacle to their relationship.
