Masud Rana, known by his code name MR-9, is a secret agent of the Bangladesh Counter-Intelligence Agency and has been a legendary figure in literature for over 55 years. Created by Qazi Anwar Husain, he has featured in more than 550 widely popular novels published by Sheba Prokashoni. This film draws its inspiration from the very first book in the series, Masud Rana: Dhonghsho Pahar (Demolition Hill).
