Mabel (2026)

No one truly understands Callie, an awkward child whose only companion is a plant named Mabel—except for Ms. G, her teacher, who exposes her to the debated idea of “plant intelligence.” Eager to earn her approval, Callie secretly constructs a greenhouse in her backyard. However, her growing fixation soon puts her at odds with her mother and risks damaging her first real bond with another child.
