Jake Rosser, still tormented by PTSD from his time as a K-9 officer, tries to build a calm, ordinary life with his family and his retired canine partner, Socks. However, that peace is shattered when a vicious gang launches a brutal assault on them. Driven to shield those he loves, Jake teams up with his new K-9 partner, Argos, and descends into a violent criminal underworld. Along the way, he clashes with corrupt authorities, exposes a dangerous drug-smuggling network, and wrestles with the trauma he carries within.
