During their final evening together, best friends Jo and Raissa accidentally discover a hidden gateway that sweeps them away to Nakali—a enchanted realm teeming with legendary beings from the Filipino folklore told by their families. While navigating this surreal island, they team up with an eager yet clumsy weredog named Raww (voiced by Dave Franco) and a quirky group of companions. Together, they must confront the island's most terrifying entity: The Dreaded Manananggal (voiced by Broadway legend Lea Salonga). However, after learning that escaping back to the real world requires forfeiting every shared memory of their bond, the duo embarks on a desperate bid to return home without erasing their friendship completely.
