Ponies (2026)

In 1977 Moscow, two "PONIES" (a term for "persons of no interest" in intelligence jargon) work anonymously as secretaries at the American Embassy—until their husbands die under mysterious circumstances in the Soviet Union, pulling them into the world of the CIA. Bea Grant, highly educated and fluent in Russian, is the daughter of Russian immigrants, trying to navigate a life that hasn’t gone as planned. Twila Hasbeck, a bold and fearless small-town woman, is brash and daring beyond her years.
