Pose (2025) is a psychological thriller that follows Thomas (James McAvoy), a withdrawn artist who invites a small group to spend a weekend at his sprawling country estate. The gathering takes an uneasy turn when two couples arrive, including his former lover and an admiring fan, setting the stage for mounting tension. As the weekend unfolds, clashing ambitions and unresolved emotions drive an intense, almost spontaneous-feeling drama that examines ego, fixation, and creative exhaustion. The boundaries between artistic inspiration and mental unraveling begin to dissolve, ultimately leading to dark consequences that may prove fatal for some involved.
