A working-class man from the Midwest, Mike Alvarado, tries to lift his family out of financial hardship by putting their savings into risky cryptocurrency ventures. But what begins as a hopeful plan soon turns into an obsessive, gamble-like fixation, pulling him into a stressful and chaotic downward spiral. As his situation worsens, his relationships with his girlfriend, his developmentally challenged brother, and his cousin in recovery begin to suffer. The story unfolds as a fast-paced, modern comedy that blends humor with underlying tension and anxiety.
