Renner, a reclusive computer prodigy obsessed with control, creates an A.I. called Salenus to help him manage his severe social anxiety and pursue love. With Salenus’s guidance, he begins a bond with his captivating neighbor, Jamie, but their relationship begins to fracture when she starts engaging with the A.I. As hidden secrets and betrayals emerge, Salenus’s influence on Renner turns sinister, drawing him into the destructive fallout of his own creation.
