A young collegiate football coach, backed by a tempting NIL deal, travels to rural Alabama to recruit the country’s most sought-after high school defensive end. There, he becomes caught in a chaotic battle against aggressive rival recruiters, opportunistic locals, and the daunting task of earning the trust of the player’s deeply troubled family.
