Long (Hiệp Trần Nghĩa), a Vietnamese driver living in Southern California, receives a late-night ride request. Still in his pajamas, he hesitantly agrees and picks up a man named Tây (Dustin Nguyen) along with two others. Unbeknownst to him, the group is recently escaped convicts from an Orange County jail, and they soon take Long hostage at gunpoint, forcing him into their escape plan. When unexpected problems arise, the fugitives and Long find themselves holed up in a motel, setting the stage for a tense standoff.
