Jaladhar Sen and his wife are retired and reside with their son, daughter-in-law, and young granddaughter. Despite this, their day-to-day lives are tightly controlled by their son, leaving the elderly couple with little independence. Tensions rise when the son spares no expense to celebrate his own tenth wedding anniversary but shows little interest in honoring his parents’ 45 years of togetherness. Faced with disappointment and growing distance, Jaladhar must find a way to make their anniversary truly special while also mending the strained bond with his son.
