An ordinary couple, Muku and Nayontara, live in a part of Dhaka city where access to drinking water is scarce. During the summer, the water supply is cut off for several days. While the local residents have stored some water for emergencies, Muku and Nayontara have none. Desperate, they go door to door asking for water, but instead of help, Nayontara is brutally beaten. Fueled by anger, Nayontara seeks revenge, finding her own way to retaliate.
